There's no place like home for Holbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Williams Vikings on Friday as they made off with a 14-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Roadrunners, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Tamryn Baldonado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kentrall John was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cayla Monroe, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
