De Pere has gone a perfect 10-0 against Green Bay Southwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Redbirds will venture away from home to take on the Fighting Trojans at 4:30 p.m. De Pere is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
De Pere barely beat Neenah the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redbirds were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Rockets on Saturday. The Redbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ryan Wettstein was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Green Bay Southwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Lena on Saturday as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Fighting Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Kolton Dudek made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Green Bay Southwest is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-9 otherwise. Dudek was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Green Bay Southwest let Braxton Murphy and Kaleb Langenberg run wild. Murphy went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Langenberg went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Murphy has become a key player for Green Bay Southwest: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-9 otherwise. Daniel Cutlan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Green Bay Southwest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in three consecutive games.
De Pere's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest, their record is now 6-10.
Everything went De Pere's way against Green Bay Southwest in their previous meeting on Friday, as De Pere made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
