The Enochs Eagles were the 57-51 winner over the Gregori Jaguars when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Enochs took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.
Gregori found their leader in underclassman Jayson Powers, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Powers is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. Raphael Rosas was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Enochs' defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Gregori, the win got them back to even at 13-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enochs will face off against the Pride at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Pitman has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 374 points over their last six matchups. As for Gregori, they will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Modesto is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home.
