Opelousas made up a huge gap compared to their last game against LaGrange, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Opelousas put the hurt on LaGrange with a sharp 17-7 victory on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Opelousas' victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for LaGrange, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for LaGrange, they will venture away from home to take on DeRidder at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
