The Berry Cardinal's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They blew past West Mecklenburg 53-24 on the road. Berry's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Zahnia Long had an outrageously good game as she scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Brynlee Miller, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Berry's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for West Mecklenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
