Bluffton (S.C.) extended its winning streak to eight games with a 37-20 victory over
Ashley Ridge (Summerville, S.C.) on Saturday.
The two teams were tied at seven heading into halftime. The Bobcats took the lead for good on a rushing touchdown with 11:00 to go in the third quarter.
Tykeem Major stood out for Bluffton in the win. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Ashley Ridge defeated Colleton County 30-7 last week.
Bluffton (8-0) goes up against Fort Dorchester when it takes the field next week. The Patriots have put together a 3-6 record on the year so far.
