Potomac Valley II recap Oct. 30, 2012
Tucker County extended the longest winning streak in Potomac Valley II this week by beating Petersburg, 51-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Mountain Lions.
Tucker County took down the Vikings 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Tygarts Valley's Brandon Pritt and Timothy Sparks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pritt has thrown for 367 yards this season, while Sparks, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has nine catches for 131 yards. Kyler Doss from Pocahontas County leads the league in rushing with 569 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Bulldogs take on Moorefield. Tygarts Valley is in sixth place, while the Yellowjackets are in third place.
East Hardy led Potomac Valley II in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Clear Spring.
