6A Special District 2 recap Oct. 16, 2012
Lincoln and Sunset played the most hotly contested game in 6A Special District 2 this week, with Lincoln eventually emerging with a 20-16 victory.
Grant made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,536 from 5,933. The improvement came about via a 24-16 victory over the Generals last week.
Grant's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Generals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sam Davis has thrown for 1033 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Nathan Halverson has 30 catches for 589 yards. Bryant Peek Jr leads the league in rushing with 519 yards.
