Centennial won the last time they faced Danville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chargers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 7-0 win. Centennial might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by four goals or more this season.

They hit Danville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alicia Fernandez (3), Alaina Kimble (2), Samantha Doughty, and Jennevive Baker.

The victory made it two in a row for Centennial and bumps their season record up to 8-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Danville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will head out to face off against Mt. Zion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Zion will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Danville, they will head out on the road to square off against Normal West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
