On Thursday, Paradise Honors wrapped up 2023 with a 62-46 victory over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy.
Paradise Honors found their leader in underclassman Tj Harris, who scored 32 points along with five rebounds. The game was Harris' 15th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dillan Mcclinton, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Mason Hoke, who scored 18 points. Hoke scored a full 39.1% of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Juan Castano was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Paradise Honors is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Paradise Honors and Cienega will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cienega is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 67.5 points per game. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sierra Vista at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th. Sierra Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Pusch Ridge Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
