The Fort Myers Green Wave will head out to challenge the Parrish Community Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated (Fort Myers has four wins , while Parrish Community has 13 dating back to last season).
Fort Myers is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bonita Springs 16-1 on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Green Wave with their most commanding win of the season.
Lolly Lane and Afton Jessogne were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Lane tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Meanwhile, Jessogne tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in hits. At bat, Lane scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Jessogne scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Jessogne posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Tegan Webb was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Jordan McKee was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
Fort Myers was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Parrish Community made easy work of Hardee on Tuesday and carried off a 22-4 victory.
Like Fort Myers, Parrish Community also got a great game from a two-way player: Isabella Yazzetti. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over 6.1 innings pitched. Yazzetti was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Mackenzie Pandelo was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madelina Chapman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-6.
Fort Myers' record now sits at 4-0. As for Parrish Community, their record is now 2-0.
Fort Myers suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Parrish Community in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can Fort Myers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
