Blackman won against Stewarts Creek on October 2nd with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Blaze beat the Smyrna Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 35-7. The result was nothing new for the Blaze, who have now won five matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Blackman and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Smyrna, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
