Gabby Schaeffer was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cori Exarchakis, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
Monroe-Woodbury pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kingston, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
