As a matter of fact, Boca Raton Christian put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Berean Christian 29-27.
Charlotte Segien was incredible, getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandria Kersbergen, who went 3-for-6 with six runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Boca Raton Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .426. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Pine Crest can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Boca Raton Christian as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The Panthers not only won two weeks ago, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024 (when they won 16-0).
The team relied heavily on Gabby Luong, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBI. Marion Benayoun was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Pine Crest picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Boca Raton Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Boca Raton Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .505. However, it's not like Pine Crest struggles in that department as they've averaged .560. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
