The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They slipped by Springwood 37-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lee-Scott Academy also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lee-Scott Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Davis, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. Davis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarke Ivatt, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Lee-Scott Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Springwood, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Glenwood the next time they take the court. Springwood will host Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lee-Scott Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
