Ridgewood and Passaic County Tech squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Ridgewood had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Maroons' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Ridgewood's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Passaic County Tech, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Ridgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Passaic County Tech, they will face off against Westfield on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.5, the Blue Devils 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
