The Redwood Rangers will square off against the Frontier Titans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Redwood is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 14, 2024 on Thursday. They were dealt a 73-33 loss at the hands of Monache. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Marauders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jordan Powell, who posted eight points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jazmaine Stewart, who had eight points in addition to 11 boards and three blocks.
Even though they lost, Redwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Frontier on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Stockdale out of the water with a 65-23 final score. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.
Frontier's win came from a few key players Redwood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rizelle Copeland, who put up 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards.
Frontier is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Redwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Redwood has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Frontier struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Redwood came up short against Frontier in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, falling 49-37. Can Redwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
