The Kenwood Bluebirds will head out on the road to take on the North Harford Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Kenwood put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 66-19 victory over Franklin. 66 seems to be a good number for Kenwood as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Kenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Diamond Watters, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Watters hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. Mackenzie Green was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Harford beat C. Milton Wright 44-40 on Monday.
Kenwood is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for North Harford, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
