If Middle Creek wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Green Level, they should've done a better job of containing Claire Barber. The Gators really took it to the Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-30 victory for which the team can thank Barber, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game.

Aubrey Kravetz was another key player, shooting 67% from the field en route to 18 points. She also posted a block, marking her first of the season.

Middle Creek's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Emme Blanks and Carrington Clifton. Blanks posted four points and five boards, while Clifton put up ten points.

Green Level's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Middle Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Level will venture away from home to square off against Panther Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators will be up against the Catamounts' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Middle Creek, they are taking a road trip to take on Franklinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
