Beatrice's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1. As for Minden, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Beatrice and St. Paul will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at. St. Paul will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Beatrice is ranked 12th). Minden will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ainsworth at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Ainsworth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
