Community Christian faced New Creation Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Crusaders 41-8. Considering the Knights have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Community Christian had a senior duo take command as Isaiah Lee gained 118 total yards and three touchdowns and Fredrico Jones threw for 131 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. Lee was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.

Community Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jones. Community Christian received some extra help from Austin Anthony, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Community Christian pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.4 points over those games. As for New Creation Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Community Christian will face off against Augusta E at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they will square off against Young Americans Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
