Tohatchi have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be playing at home against Crownpoint at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Tohatchi lost to Zuni two weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 8-58. Tohatchi were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-44.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Crownpoint weren't quite Zuni's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Crownpoint were dealt a punishing 12-50 loss at the hands of Zuni. The state rankings had actually given Crownpoint a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
