Alcester-Hudson faced Avon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Cubs blew past the Pirates 15-0. The win was familiar territory for the Cubs, who have now won six games in a row.

Emma Moller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Alcester-Hudson got a massive performance out of Paxtyn Moller, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Moller a new career-high. Delta Pies was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.
