Baseball Recap: Central Holmes Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winona Christian, Central Holmes Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Grace Christian Eagles with a sharp 17-1 win. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Central Holmes Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Carnathan, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. That's the most runs Carnathan has posted since back in March of 2024. Another was Chance Langford, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Central Holmes Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
