Blake Skinner made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Skinner was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Mickelberry, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
