Spring Hill had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They never let the Kilgore Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Spring Hill's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kilgore, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-14-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will welcome Longview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kilgore, they will face off against Gilmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
