Cherokee came out on top against Hammonton on Thursday thanks in part to Allison Cunane's efforts. Nobody could stop Cunane as she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Cunane and Cherokee will square off against Paul VI at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long.
