The San Fernando Tigers lost against the Chavez Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. San Fernando took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chavez. San Fernando has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, San Fernando saw an underclassman step up: Isaiah Cabrera scored 25 points. Cabrera scored a full 51% of San Fernando's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Marin , who scored 10 points.
San Fernando's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chavez, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
San Fernando is on the road again on Saturday and play against Vaughn at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Chavez won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Hollywood at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
