Basketball Recap: Riverside Prep Drops Season-High Score on University Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside Prep). They took down the University Prep Jaguars 78-63 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Silver Knights also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Despite the defeat, University Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Donald McFarlin posted 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McFarlin has scored all season.

Riverside Prep's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for University Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Riverside Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-30 win against Entrepreneur on the 6th. As for University Prep, they have also already played their next matchup, a 56-54 loss against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy on the 9th.
