The Warrensburg Tigers lost against the Notre Dame de Sion Storm back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Warrensburg suffered a tough 55-33 loss at the hands of the Storm. Warrensburg has struggled against the Storm recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Abby Wendte was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with four steals for Notre Dame de Sion. Wendte is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylenna Potts, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Warrensburg has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Notre Dame de Sion, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-8.
Warrensburg will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisonville is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Notre Dame de Sion, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Ruskin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Storm are ranked 127th).
