Eastern Hancock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Irvington Preparatory Academy get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with Irvington Preparatory Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Nieko Engleking was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Those 15 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Eastern Hancock got a big performance out of Brooklynn Headlee, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Addisyn Trackwell was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Eastern Hancock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Triton Central entered their tilt with Heritage Christian on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They blew past the Eagles 13-1.
Triton Central let Jayda McKee and Olivia Schaadt run wild. McKee got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, while Schaadt went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Hittle, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Eastern Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Triton Central, their win bumped their record up to 21-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Eastern Hancock has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Triton Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Eastern Hancock came up short against Triton Central when the teams last played back in April, falling 5-2. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
