The Jupiter Christian Eagles were the  57-51 winner over the Benjamin Buccaneers when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Jupiter Christian fell just short of Benjamin by a score of  49-46. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Jupiter Christian has scored all season.
 When it comes to explaining why Jupiter Christian lost on Monday, one person who can't be blamed is  Conner Hoffman. Despite the final result, he  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 14  rebounds. Hoffman has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last four times he's  played.
 Jupiter Christian  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only four  offensive rebounds. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Benjamin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Adam Balogoun-ali, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds and four  steals. Those eight  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Cosby-Mosley, who  scored 15 points along with five  rebounds.
 Jupiter Christian has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Benjamin,  the  victory  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Jupiter Christian will take on Glades Day in a holiday battle at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday at. Glades Day has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Benjamin won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against North Broward Prep at 6:00  p.m.  on December 12th. North Broward Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Benjamin in Florida (North Broward Prep is ranked 20th, while Benjamin is ranked 297th).
