After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archbishop McCarthy, Seacrest Country Day was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Barron Collier Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. The matchup marked the Stingrays' most dominant victory of the season so far.

While Seacrest Country Day won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 26-24.

Sophie Fong paced Seacrest Country Day's offense, picking up eight kills. Fong got some help from Alexa Hicks and her 23 assists. Caidyn Haberman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Barron Collier still got an impressive performance from Presley Kepple, who had four aces and three digs.

The win got Seacrest Country Day back to even at 5-5. As for Barron Collier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
