Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Standley Lake). They were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over the Wheat Ridge Farmers on Saturday. Titus Schrecengost made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carter Casias, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Henry Moore, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
