After a string of three wins, Greater Grace Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Airy Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greater Grace Christian Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Maryland School for the Deaf entered their tilt with the Patriots with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. Maryland School for the Deaf walked away with a 53-46 victory over the Patriots on Thursday. Given Maryland School for the Deaf's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 82nd in Maryland, while the Patriots are ranked 313th in Virginia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Greater Grace Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
