Everything went their way against the Brevard Christian War Eagles on Monday as the Satellite Scorpions made off with a 90-64 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Scorpions pulled away in the second half with 49 points.
Satellite was led to victory by K'Dnce Cataldo and Jack Knight. Cataldo went 10 of 18 on his way to 32 points and four steals, while Knight dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Cataldo continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Mcphilamy, who went 8 for 12 en route to 19 points.
Despite the loss, Brevard Christian still got an impressive performance from Gabriel Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The game was Mitchell's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Mitchell, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.
Satellite moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Brevard Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11.
