Orem came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Duncanville, but Kayden Edwards wouldn't allow it. The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Orem Tigers on Friday thanks in part to Edwards, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Gary Jones, who put up nine points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The win made it two in a row for Duncanville and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Orem, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1.

Duncanville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 84-70 loss against Utah Prep on the 14th. As for Orem, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-53 victory against St. Raymond Boys on the 14th.
