The Warren Dragons suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Franklin by a score of 56-54. Warren has struggled against Franklin recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Warren had strong showings from Brady Berdine, who scored 23 points along with two steals, and Logan Crissey, who scored 18 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crissey has scored all season. Braylon Barnes was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Warren's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Warren will be playing at home against Conneaut Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Conneaut Area's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Titusville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Titusville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Franklin is ranked 131st).
