The Belmont Braves won against the Black Hawk Warriors on Thursday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Belmont managed a 49-44 win over Black Hawk. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Belmont.
Belmont's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wynston Palzkill, who scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Palzkill has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Optiz, who scored eight points.
The victory got Belmont back to even at 3-3. As for Black Hawk, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Argyle the next time they take the court. Belmont will host Argyle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Black Hawk will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
