Dr. Krop has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie at 8:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Dr. Krop struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Thursday (Northwestern was 24% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Dr. Krop was outmatched by Northwestern on the road and fell 76-44. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dr. Krop has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Dr. Krop got a solid performance out of Joseph Washington, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Washington scored a full 43.2% of Dr. Krop's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Emmanuel Ferguson, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Hialeah Educational Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-58 to Crossroads. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Dr. Krop's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hialeah Educational Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
