On Monday, the Solorio Sun Warriors's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 20-16 W over Bowen. The win made it back-to-back wins for Solorio.
Despite the defeat, Bowen had strong showings from D'Mya Adams, who scored 2 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals, and Alexis Gore, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Solorio's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Bowen, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Solorio will head out on the road to face off against Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tilden is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Bowen, they will be playing at home against Hirsch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hirsch comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
