Wirt County is 0-10 against Ravenswood since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Wirt County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylan Dawson, who scored 19 points, and Connor Hoover who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Axley, who scored eight points.
Wirt County struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Ravenswood waltzed into their game on Monday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They blew past Greenbrier West 68-24 on the road. Ravenswood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 25 points or more this season.
Wirt County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Ravenswood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
