Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  3-0 to the St. John Fighting Herald. The Spartans were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Fighting Herald from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18,  25-8.
 Lillian Ensman paced Conneaut's offense, picking up six kills. Ensman got some help from  Lynn Muha and her 12 assists.  Bailey Carlson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. John, their win was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conneaut will square off against Madison at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The  matchup will  give the Spartans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. John, they will face off against Jefferson Area at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
