The San Saba Armadillos will be playing at home against the Mason Punchers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, San Saba was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-45 to Harper.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Mason, who are still winless after their 13th match. The contest between Mason and Johnson City wasn't particularly close, with Mason falling 54-39.
San Saba has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season. As for Mason, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-13.
San Saba didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mason in their previous meeting on January 2nd, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. Will San Saba repeat their success, or does Mason have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
