Softball Recap: Burnet's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Burnet won the last time they faced Jarrell and things went their way on Friday too. Burnet walked away with a 13-10 victory over Jarrell. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Burnet's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jarrell, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-15-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Burnet is set to take on their familiar foe Salado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jarrell will face off against rival Lampasas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
