With a playoff win on the line, Southern Alamance rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Scotland Fighting Scots as they made off with a 9-2 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Southern Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Scotland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.
