There's no place like home for St. Joseph Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Providence Catholic Provets with a sharp 50-25 victory on Friday. The Bloodhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Providence Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Kaylee Camacho and Selene Cedillo. Camacho posted ten points, while Cedillo had eight points.

St. Joseph Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Providence Catholic, they are on a 47-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-30.

St. Joseph Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-28 win against St. Joseph on the 10th. As for Providence Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 44-21 loss against St. Anthony on the 11th.
