The Orangeburg Prep Gladiators will head out on the road to take on the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Orangeburg Prep barely beat St. John's Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladiators put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 8-2 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Gladiators, who have now won four contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Maxx Judy, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cholly Williams, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Orangeburg Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. John's Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .214.
Meanwhile, Colleton Prep Academy got themselves on the board against Andrew Jackson Academy on Monday, but Andrew Jackson Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Warriors 15-0.
Channing Terry was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Terry was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Grayson Martin was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Fripp Smoak was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Orangeburg Prep's record now sits at 8-5. As for Colleton Prep Academy, their record is now 13-7.
Orangeburg Prep might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Colleton Prep Academy in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Gladiators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
