Cardinal Gibbons got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cash McSweeney out in front who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Smalls, who scored 17 points along with six assists.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Owen Pedersen, who scored 14 points. Gianni McIntire was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
