After flying high against the Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs last Monday, Quakertown Christian came back down to earth. Quakertown Christian took a serious blow against the Drakes on Thursday, falling 76-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Quakertown Christian has scored all season.
Jenkintown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Desmond Trail led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Tommy Walsh was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Quakertown Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jenkintown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quakertown Christian will take on the at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. West Chester Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully the like a good challenge. As for Jenkintown, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
